About this area

In regular and irregular waves we measure how a vessel or floating structure responds: heave, pitch, roll, accelerations and the loads induced by the sea. Tests can be driven to high sea states, so behaviour near operating limits is observed rather than extrapolated.

Seakeeping performance does not remain only in graphs and numbers — the model’s behaviour in near-real conditions is also recorded visually, which makes the result usable in design reviews.
