Model Testing & Design Validation

Physical modelling is used to answer questions that computation cannot yet close: slamming, green water, extreme responses and the interaction between hull, propeller and appendages.

The measured data is shared in a common format so that it can be used both for design development and for validating CFD and other numerical tools, closing the loop between model test and simulation.
